Lamp Jr.

Lamp Jr. is a user interface for submitting simple queries to the Globin Gene Server's database of experimental results and hemoglobinopathies. It is very easy to use, because you you don't need to learn an arcane query language--Lamp Jr. builds the query for you.

Notes:

• It is written in Java, so you must have a Java-enabled browser to use it.
• Queries may take a long time to run (10 min. or more for some DNA transfer experiments and binding assays). This is due to the database's query engine, not the Lamp Jr. interface. We are working on speeding it up.
• Currently the output is displayed in its raw storage format; we will add the graphical representations soon.
